On any given weekend, Andrea Munson is like any other mom, spending her “free time” balancing her daughter’s sporting events, cleaning house and catching up on her favorite Netflix shows. But her work at eSolutions is never far from her thoughts.
As Director of Implementation and Projects, Andrea is responsible for the Implementation, Enrollment, and Strategic Operations teams. She is always busy making sure her teams and managers are firing on all cylinders when it comes to helping eSolutions’ employees assist clients. She also makes sure that any system that can be automated is, to make eSolutions’ products work as seamlessly as possible for new and existing clients.
Andrea was drawn to eSolutions in 2015 because she saw its potential for growth in a competitive market. “I was intrigued by the idea of getting to build a training team from the ground up, so I began to set the groundwork for eSolutions’ first training department,” she said. “There were endless possibilities to the ways we could provide and improve upon how our clients received information, and I wanted to be a part of it.”
In three-and-a-half years with eSolutions, Andrea’s roles have included Corporate Trainer, Training Team Lead, Training Manager and, currently, Director of Implementation and Projects. Andrea said she loves the fact that eSolutions has given her the opportunity to be promoted from within.
Every day, Andrea and her team members strive to make sure that their clients have everything they need to utilize eSolutions’ systems to the fullest. The work might seem like a full plate to most, but Andrea loves the challenge and working with clients. “My focus is on getting a better understanding of our clients’ needs on an individual level and translating that into effective implementation. I ensure we are working right alongside our clients during the entire enrollment and implementation process to give them the best service we can provide.”
While at eSolutions, Andrea has built a successful training department and created extensive content to assist eSolutions’ clients. Her greatest rewards working at eSolutions include guiding her teams to find their own success and getting to see the pride they have in what they’ve accomplished. “From enrolling and implementing large clients, rocking some sweet survey numbers and assisting other departments, all of these things make me want to get up in the morning and get started on a new day.”
How does Andrea like to wind down after a busy work week? “Sleeping in, if at all possible, is always the best method,” she said. Even off the clock, though, she enjoys spending her Sunday afternoons planning the week ahead on her three whiteboards (she admits to maybe being too over-organized at times), reading a good book or going out to eat with her family at a Mexican restaurant.
She loves her weekends but can’t wait to get back to work on Monday mornings. “eSolutions is constantly evolving and changing to meet the needs of our employees and customers,” she explained. “I am a life-long student and love that eSolutions allows me to learn new things every day. My teams are made up of extremely hard-working, loyal folks, and with us all having the same customer-first mindset, it’s not a stretch to say my teams are what keeps me going.”
