Upcoming eSolutions and Claim Remedi Maintenance
eSolutions products are delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS). As such, we regularly push out bug fixes and new features. Whenever possible, we do these within scheduled windows that occur every other Thursday night at 9pm CST. Typically, downtime is kept to a minimum, but connectivity could be intermittent while the changes are pushed out. If we anticipate an extended outage we will notify customers ahead of time.
eSolutions also tries to minimize production infrastructure changes by scheduling them when possible. These typically occur on the second Saturday of each month, also starting at 9pm. Any extended outages will be communicated.
Dark Days (from NGS):
In anticipation of the July 2018 Release, the CWF Hosts will not process claims beginning Friday, 6/29/2018 through Sunday, 7/1/2018. During this period, which is commonly referred to as "dark days," the CWF Hosts will install the July 2018 Release, complete weekly/monthly/quarterly processing activities, and perform scheduled data center maintenance.
These dark days will limit access to information provided by the IVR system and to our portal, NGSConnex. Providers may experience limited or no access to claims, eligibility, claim overlap, patient status, check inquiry, reopening/redetermination status, offset information, and financial claim information.
Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS reminds submitters of an upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Installation of a HETS 270/271 quarterly release will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the installation window will be completed by 4:00 PM ET on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Additionally, CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. Data center maintenance will begin at 11:30 PM ET on Friday, June 29, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period for data center maintenance. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Sunday, July 1, 2018.
